Achievement
Badge System:
For
2007 we are introducing a new scheme where by students will have
the opportunity to take achievement badges.
At the moment there is currently 10 different badges to be gained,
if successful we may add to this with more badges.
The different badges that can be gained are listed below along
with the criteria for each one.
There is a cost of £1 for each badge a student applies for.
It is also possible for students to apply for badges retrospectively
so long as they comply with the criteria required.
These badges are to be obtained as a progression between gradings
and do not form part of the grading syllabus. Therefore they are
not compulsory and can be gained at any time during the students
training.
5 Kata Badges
To obtain each and every badge students must be able
to perform the kata all the way through without any mistakes.
